Staff Nurse - Ward

As a Staff Nurse on the Elective Surgical Ward at The Holly Hospital, you'll drive the standard in patient care. You're registered with the appropriate governing body, plus you bring the qualifications and experience that are relevant to your registration, including NMC. You also have post-registration experience.

As a Ward Staff Nurse, you will:

• Be flexible, motivated, an excellent communicator and team worker


• Join a close-knit team headed by our matron on our consultant-led ward


• Fully understand and pay close attention to each patient's needs


• Work directly with some of the best clinical talent around


• Gain valuable experience of new practices, equipment and facilities


• Collaborate with practitioners across other departments to ensure continuity in patient care, 24 consulting rooms


• 39 beds


• 5 theatres


• 6 treatment rooms


• 8 day care beds/seats


• 6 private rooms with seats


• 6 chemotherapy bays/beds


• Pharmacy


• 2 MRI


• CT


• 3 Ultrasound


• X-Ray


• DEXA

• BUPA accredited breast and bowel care centre

For unsocial hours, you'll be paid an additional enhancement to your salary at the following rates: Nights Hours worked between 7pm and 7am on any day of the week, 30% of basic hourly rate. Weekends Hours worked between 7am and 7pm on a Saturday or Sunday, 20% of basic hourly rate. Bank Holidays Hours worked between midnight and midnight of a bank holiday, 100% of basic hourly rate.
