Software Developer / Architect

We're seeking an experienced hands-on developer / architect to support our fast-growing business.

Our ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation in secure, scalable, real-time, redundant and reliable enterprise solutions with clear vision and drive. Responsibilities are expected to include:

• Design and develop software in a multi-machine environment as part of our Constellation analysis and control platform


• Work with the rest of the team to deliver a robust and scalable technology platform.


• Understand requirements end to end from technical and business views and translate them into platform solutions.


• Automated build and test suite to ensure system reliability


• Continuously learn and keep up to date with the latest technologies and be able to pick the right one to solve client's problem.


• Contribute to development standards, processes, security policies, tools
  
  Expert in the C++ programming language with at least 5 years experience


• Development on Linux platforms


• Experience in designing and delivering scalable software projects


• RESTful API, HTTP and socket based communications


• Strong desire to learn new technologies, skills, and domains of knowledge.


• Passionate about delivering robust solutions with intuitive user interfaces


• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills


• Commercial awareness and clarity to streamline and reduce costs


You do not need to have all the experience listed above but you need clear technical analysis and an aptitude to adopt new technologies

Nice to have:

• POSTGRES or similar database application experience


• AWS setup and environments


• Familiarity with the Qt toolkit


• MQTT and IoT experience


• Javascript and client-side applications


• A knowledge of Docker and/or Podman


• Experience working in a hybrid environment - distributed team


• Strong experience or desire for client engagement, taking solutions to client and listening
