Scaffolder part 2

Construct and assemble scaffolding structures according to blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Inspect and assess work areas to determine the type and amount of scaffolding needed
- Set up scaffolding using hand tools, power tools, and equipment
- Secure scaffolding to structures using ropes, cables, and braces
- Ensure scaffolding is stable, level, and secure for workers to use
- Take down and dismantle scaffolding structures after use
- Clean and maintain scaffolding equipment and materials

Proficient in welding techniques for joining metal components of scaffolding
- Knowledge of various hand tools such as hammers, wrenches, and pliers for assembly and disassembly
- Familiarity with masonry techniques for securing scaffolding to walls or other structures
- Experience using power tools such as drills, saws, and grinders for cutting and shaping materials
- Ability to fabricate custom components for scaffolding as needed
- Carpentry skills for constructing wooden platforms or supports
- Knowledge of paint application for marking or color-coding scaffold components
- Understanding of roof safety procedures when working at heights
- Ability to plumb scaffold structures to ensure vertical alignment
- Basic electrical knowledge for working around electrical systems safely
