Full Job Description

Are you an experienced administrator who likes to help others? Would you like to work in a friendly, fast paced and rewarding environment? Come and put your skills to use at a charity supporting people with learning disabilities and/or autism.

Based at our office in Coedpoeth, Wrexham, you will provide administrative support to the management teams at our services in Wrexham and the Wirral. This is a part-time role, where your hours and days can be worked flexibly over the working week. Working pattern can be discussed at interview stage. We are looking for someone with a minimum availability of 20 hours per week. You will need to be a driver with access to your own car, as you may need to travel to our Wirral office (with expenses paid for this travel.)

This is a varied and fast-paced role, which requires strong IT skills as we use a number of bespoke platforms such as Microsoft Office and Outlook extensively. This role would suit someone from a recruitment or training background, but this is by no means essential. The role also involves general administration duties such as data management, record-keeping for the people we support, updating staff training records, and being a first point of contact either face-to-face or over the phone to job applicants, families, trainers and staff.

Working in the social care sector is a highly regulated environment with a lot of paperwork, but essentially it's all about supporting people to live their best possible lives.

You must be an experienced Administrator able to:

  • Work on your own initiative as well as being part of a team

  • Have excellent IT skills, including MS Office and ideally experience of online databases and management information systems. We provide full training on our bespoke platforms

  • Be well organised and able to prioritise

  • Have great attention to detail

  • Work well under pressure

  • Willingness to learn new systems

  • If you have relevant experience, good customer service skills and share our values you are a great fit. We are looking for people who celebrate differences, and we strive to make all our staff feel included, valued and respected.

You must be a driver with access to your own car.
