Full Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for an individual to join Lockings Solicitors as a Reception and Administration Assistant Apprentice in their Beverley office. The ideal candidate will be confident on the phone, a quick learner and highly organised.

In this role, you will be in the reception providing support and excellent customer service to clients. You will also be completing general administration duties to support the wider team and so much more.,

  • Photocopying documents

  • Certifying ID & complete AML

  • Scanning documents into the Case Management System

  • Pulling post and scanning documents to remote workers

  • Daily banking

  • Recording documents that come into the firm and passing them to the fee earners

  • Transferring calls to the relevant fee earner across other offices within the firm or taking messages

  • Call clients to get them booked in for signing appointments if necessary

  • Be able to book appointments in my diary and the meeting room if necessary

  • The above is a list of the main day-to-day duties however there will be other administration roles and tasks within the branch to assist all teams.

    Office experience - Desirable

  • Telephone experience - Desirable

  • Good organisation

  • Quick learner

  • Accurate with a good standard of written English

  • Good time management

  • Works well with a team and individually

    The successful candidate will work towards a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship with the appointed provider, HBTC (www.hbtc.co.uk). An Apprenticeship allows you to acquire valuable skills and experience in your chosen sector, which improves your CV and employability when you've finished training. You'll learn in the work environment, developing the practical skills and understanding you need to excel in your role. This opportunity could also lead to permanent employment and progression opportunities.
