Full Job Description

He graduated from Leeds Beckett University in 2019 with a degree in filmmaking and has some part-time work. He is a fan of film, comedy, football , travel and vegetarian food. He also enjoys a night out with friends.
The job involves assisting Sam with all self care and daily living tasks. Sam requires support at home, at work and socially , which could include nights out, day trips and holidays. The role will also involve supporting Sam with physiotherapy and hydrotherapy. The role also involves taking care of Sam's flat, washing, cooking etc.

Sam needs people on his team who can form strong relationships with him and put his needs first. Sam's team of personal assistants have been carefully selected and trained. We are looking for someone to join the team who understands and enjoys the role. It will help if you are an outgoing and positive person who is open to trying new things. You will need to be in good health and able to manage 24 hour shifts. There is a PA room at Sam's flat were you will stay overnight. We are a supportive and flexible team.
Information:
You need to be available for weekend shifts on alternate wekends
Relevant experience desirable
Drivers License desirable
Full training provided
Shifts to be decided on appointment (24-48 hours per week) Must be able to work weekends
Regular shifts are 24hours 7:30am-7:30am
We will endeavor to offer flexibility whenever possible, but this will include weekend work

    Sam is an intelligent, fun-loving 25 year old man with physical disabilities who lives independently in Leeds with support from a team of Personal Assistants. He is a wheelchair user and communicates using an electronic talker.
