Full Job Description

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational individual to deliver and lead our T Level Animal Science provision. This is an exciting curriculum development for Hartlepool Sixth Form with potential to further expand the STEM department. If you can demonstrate how you would deliver outstanding teaching, learning and assessment using a range of pedological approaches, and have industry knowledge and experience, then this is the role for you.

It is essential that you hold an appropriate qualification in Animal Science and are qualified to Level 2 in English and maths. Industry knowledge and experience is key to the success of this role and applicants should be able to demonstrate examples of this in their personal statement, in addition to how they fulfil the person specification.

Hartlepool Sixth Form is the top performing Sixth Form college in the North East for student achievement, with 100% pass rate for over 30 courses and 98% of our student progressing to either College or employment.

Here in Hartlepool, we have been delivering highly successful courses for more than 50 years as the only dedicated sixth form college in the area. Situated on the outskirts of the town centre, we have excellent facilities for both academic and vocational study with excellent sports facilities and full-equipped science labs and have recently invested in a new digital academy and a health simulation ward.
