Full Job Description

We transform futures through industry-relevant, expert teaching, from foundation and undergraduate degrees through to postgraduate study and research, with effective digital provision central to our continued success.

You can be a pivotal part of the IT purchasing and Operations Team, as an IT Purchasing Officer. You will collaborate closely with the Procurement function to implement and enhance the overall IT procurement strategy.

If you have an excellent understanding of business operations and are confident in your ability to build relationships with customers and suppliers then this role is for you.

We are looking for a proactive team player, who can assist in the planning, management and delivery of the IT maintenance spend category, as well as demonstrate expertise in financial best practices and procurement legislation.

You will employ IT skills to research routes to markets for procurement, manage relationships with suppliers, monitor contracts and ensure opportunities for continual improvement are explored.
