Full Job Description

This position support the Senior Highways Engineer in ensuring that highway safety and service inspections are carried out in a correct, timely and quality manner along with delivering and managing, reactive and routine highway maintenance needs whilst apply a risk based approach.
The successful person will programme and manage annual machine and condition surveys to ensure they are undertaken in a correct, timely and quality manner including the processing of data to produce Road Condition Indicators and support the development of the annual Highway Maintenance Schemes Programme.
We are looking for a hardworking and conscientious person to work in a busy environment, providing an essential and valuable service to our customers, who can build effective relationships with customers and relevant partners.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working within an operational Highways Environment, be well-organised, flexible, and have good communication skills.
