Hairdresser

We are seeking a talented and experienced Hair Stylist to join our team. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of hair care services to our clients. This includes cutting, styling, coloring, and treating hair to enhance the client's appearance and boost their confidence.

Duties:
- Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to clients' needs and preferences
- Perform hair consultations to determine the best course of action for each client
- Cut, trim, and shape hair using professional techniques and tools
- Style hair using various styling techniques such as blow drying, curling, and straightening
- Apply hair color, highlights, and lowlights to achieve desired results
- Perform hair treatments such as deep conditioning and scalp massages
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hairstyling
- Upsell salon products and services to clients
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their satisfaction with the final result
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and salon equipment

Valid Hairdressing qualification
- Previous experience as a Hair Stylist preferred
- Strong mentoring skills to guide junior stylists in their professional development
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Proficient in various hairstyling techniques including barbering and colours
- Knowledge of store management principles is a plus
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
