Events Coordinator - Clean Energy

We would like to hire an Events Coordinator with a whirlwind of energy to run not one, or two or three or four but over 10 separate livestream and TikTok events EACH WEEK in our busy social media studio in Reading. Yes - it's busy!

We are an established marketing company and would assign you to our "Undertwok" project based in a shop unit / social media studio in Reading.

OK, many events are quite short workshops (30-minute livestreamed podcast interviews or 1 hour teach-alongs) but some are group social events involving singing, music and dance with participants from local clubs, schools, colleges and organisations.

We sell portable solar panels and portable batteries but we livestream using social media and our events are all linked to interesting ways to live life under 2 kWh or energy per day - teaching about electricity and solar power and also how to use it wisely

We are very very keen to support our local businesses and so the Event Coordinator will be responsible for all our community outreach relationships with schools and venues in Reading and other businesses to create and execute new events.

We are super flexible on your workload - we want to tailor the job to your circumstances so that you can perform at your best and do what you really enjoy doing.

Responsibilities: Conceive events, reach out to community and performers to coordinate and organise, prepare marketing materials - ads and leaflets and our events catalogue, maintain Eventbrite and Meetup and other online listings.

Experience: we really do want to see experience of your running events in the local Reading area.
