Full Job Description

The Governors of Sandylands School would like to appoint an Assistant Cook to work in our busy kitchen. We prepare healthy fresh meals from locally sourced suppliers. All candidates must have a commitment to working in an inclusive school. The hours of work are from 10am - 2pm Monday to Friday.

Main duties are:

  • Act as assistant to the Catering Manager and cover for absence.

  • Assist in preparation, cooking and serving of food.

  • Work within government guidelines to provide healthy school meals.

  • Flexibility is essential to cover for staff absence.
