Full Job Description

Our client is an established Accountancy Group across the North-West, renowned for their dedication to excellence and employee development. They believe in developing talent and providing the necessary support to help their employees thrive.

As an Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing VAT returns

  • Preparing month-end and year-end journals

  • Working alongside tax accounts

  • Conducting monthly reconciliations for all balance sheet items

  • Developing your technical knowledge through on-the-job training and formal AAT/ACCA professional qualifications

  • Conveying effectively at all levels and demonstrating good teamwork, motivation and organisation skills

  • Assisting with Audit field work under the guidance of an audit manages

  • An annual salary between £25,000-28,000

    A minimum of two years of background working within general practice

  • Good all-around background working in Accounts Preparation for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies

  • A good working knowledge of various accounting programs such as Sage, Excel, IRIS or Bright

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Good teamwork, motivation and organisation skills

  • AAT qualification or ACCA part qualification

  • A background working in audit and tax accounts
