Full Job Description

  • Basic bookkeeping, reconciling bank accounts /

  • Compiling for review basic VAT returns /

  • Preparing basic sets of accounts / preparing basic self assessment tax returns.


    • Year two: Continues more of the above but at more advanced levels in line with the AAT syllabus.,
  • Apprenticeship training is to be delivered on-site at First Intuition's Manchester city center offices. Apprentices joining us would go onto AAT Level 3, working towards a qualification.

  • You'll also attend a series of skills workshops as part of our Impact Skills programme to help you build the soft skills you need to build your career in finance.

  • You'll be supported through your programme by a dedicated Skills and Development Coach who is there to ensure you get everything you need to succeed in your apprenticeship.

    Communication skills, IT skills, Attention to detail, Problem solving skills, Number skills, Analytical skills, Logical, Team working, Initiative, Non judgemental, Patience, GCSE or equivalent Maths and English Essential (Grade Grade 8+) Essential

    PS Accountants has been established over 13 years and operates from one office in Lymm employing a team of people who are all qualified either AAT, AAT or ACCA. It is a family run business which prides itself on great client service. We have a history of bringing through apprentices to the ACCA qualification
