Full Job Description
- Welcoming and registering new customers.
- Booking in customers and making sure they receive gold-standard care
- Answering the telephone and dealing with a range of customer queries
- Managing customer expectations regarding wait time.
- Administration duties e.g. scanning paperwork, filling in forms etc.
- Taking payments
- Promoting offers and services
- Remaining calm, courteous and professional at all times, regardless of a client or visitor's behaviour.
We are looking for someone to welcome clients and their pets to the practice in a warm, professional manner and provide support to our friendly team. - A minimum of 12 months' experience dealing with customers in a customer facing role.
- Reception or Client Care experience
- Cash handling and till operation
- IT skills - confident in the use of Word, Excel and Outlook as a minimum
- Knowledge of client-based computer system and using a multiple line software-based telephone system
- English and Maths GCSE and good general education
- Any form of client care/ Veterinary receptionist qualification
