Full Job Description

As the Technical Project Manager, you'll oversee the implementation of scientific projects within the neuromuscular disease (NMD) space . Projects include the delivery of aggregate data enquiries and more complex data driven projects utilising TREAT-NMD's Global Registry Network. In addition, as part of the PMO, you will be expected to manage internal business projects such as accreditation and governance projects.

Your responsibilities include developing and coordinating project plans, managing timelines and milestones, organizing meetings, and ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget. You'll contribute to resource planning, track project progress, evaluate risks, and produce technical reports based on project outcomes and deliverables.

A core part of the role will be the coordination with individual registries to resolve data queries, coordination of statistical analysis and overall account management are key roles that the Technical Project Manager must fulfil. This position demands strong leadership and communication skills to effectively drive successful project outcomes.

Duties:

  • Develop project concepts to realisation, working on multiple projects as required to ensure projects are approved.

  • Take overall responsibility for establishing, managing, and coordinating designated projects.

  • Establish and manage overall tasks, timelines, and major milestones for designated projects, including launch, meetings, training, protocol development, data dictionaries, analysis planning, and reporting.

  • Ensure the smooth running of the project and organise related meetings to ensure that key deliverables outlined in the project plan are met.

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

  • Offer input into the resource planning process to ensure resources, including finances, are appropriately and efficiently managed.

  • Manage and track progress and development of the project.

  • Establish a risk register to evaluate project issues and any non-compliance (RAG Rated).

  • Ensure regular contact, communication, and updates with key stakeholders.

  • Organise internal and external activities/events efficiently to maintain project momentum and achieve milestones.

  • Develop statistical analysis plans (SAPs) and Protocols for data projects.

  • Generate and contribute to project reports, including pre-feasibility and feasibility reports, study reports and manuscript preparation.

  • Understand compliance and governance surrounding patient level data

  • Facilitate and lead technical discussions with stakeholders to drive project objectives.

  • Collaborate closely with Principle Investigators to align project goals and strategies.

  • Oversee the statistical analysis as carried out by TREAT-NMD's external statistical analysis vendor and manage their timelines and deliverables in line with the overall project deliverables

    TREAT-NMD have a great opportunity for an experienced Technical Project Manager who can flourish within our growing team. The perfect fit would be someone who has proven Project Management experience within the Pharmaceutical sector and has experience working on complex data projects in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment., Proven experience in technical project management and relevant Project Management qualification

  • Degree qualification or equivalent in a relevant discipline (e.g. Life Sciences)

  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail

  • Experience in a similar field, i.e. scientific/pharmaceutical/data

  • Project finance and budgeting management

  • Proficiency in Programme management techniques and methodologies

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines consistently

  • Interest in learning a niche field (Real-World Evidence)
