Support Worker - Complex Care (FEMALE Only) -URGENT

We are seeking experienced Female Health Care Assistants for both day and night shifts to support clients with complex health conditions. Our dedicated team offers comprehensive training to enhance your clinical skills and ensure high-quality care. The individuals you will be caring for have conditions including:

• Epilepsy: Requires constant vigilance to manage and respond to seizures.


• Neurological Complications: Involving WWOX gene and WREE syndrome, which affect overall development and require specialized care approaches.


• Physical Disabilities: Including scoliosis, requiring careful physical handling and support.


• Non-verbal Communication Needs: Utilize alternative communication methods to interact and provide care.


• Visual Impairments: Adapt care strategies to support clients with limited vision.


• Gastrostomy Feeding: Includes managing gastrostomy devices and ensuring proper nutrition.


• EEG Monitoring: Assist with monitoring and recording neurological activity as needed., Support clients with managing complex health conditions, including epilepsy, genetic complications, scoliosis, and feeding through gastro devices.


• Provide specialized care for individuals who are non-verbal and visually impaired.


• Ensure high-quality and compassionate care.


• Administer medications and support therapeutic interventions as prescribed.


• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients.


• Liaise with families, advocates, and healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care delivery.


• Conduct regular assessments to monitor and respond to changes in clients' health and well-being.


Hours to Be Worked:

• Days (Monday to Friday): 7:00 am to 5:30 pm


• Nights (Monday to Sunday): 7:00 pm to 7:00 am


• Personal Care (Monday, Wednesday, Friday): 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm


• Days (Monday to Friday): 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
  
  Proficiency in PEG feeding, tracheostomy suctioning, and moving and handling.


• Experience in managing complex conditions such as epilepsy and genetic disorders.


• Familiarity with supporting non-verbal and visually impaired individuals.
