Full Job Description

  • Support the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.

  • Assist with classroom management and create a supportive learning environment.

  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, focusing on their specific needs.

  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other staff to deliver tailored educational programs.

  • Help prepare and adapt teaching materials to suit the needs of students with SEN.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that promotes student engagement and learning.

    Previous experience working with students with SEN or in a similar support role.

  • Understanding of various SEN conditions and strategies to support students effectively.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and specialists.

  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting the unique needs of SEN students.

  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in special education or related fields are advantageous.
