Hitachi Energy is looking for a Regional Continuous Improvement Leader to join our international team for our Grid Automation Business Unit, across the UK and Europe. Driving sustainable and transformational change in a wide variety of identified business areas. Making a direct impact to our operational efficiency and delivering associated cost savings across all our business operations across Hub Europe Grid Automation. Ideally, you'll have a working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma strategies and principles. Plus, experience of conducting cycles of learning & running projects utilizing Six Sigma methodology. As you champion change, you'll have a clear understanding of success factors, market requirements, threats and opportunities and you'll be able to encourage, guide and support internal stakeholders at all levels - so that their understanding and appreciation of the benefits are realized on a personal level as they engage wholeheartedly on the continuous improvement

Your responsibilities: - Serving as a change agent within the designated geography as well as within the Global PG Division Continuous Improvement function - Continually challenging conventional thinking and drives accountability for operational results for all
locations and organizational structures in-scope including lead time, inventory, cost etc. - Teaching Continuous Improvement thinking & the potential to undertake DMAIC projects. - Coaching & mentoring Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence and Quality Leaders across the geography . - Responsible for ensuring that the Leading Operating Model (Lighthouse Framework) deployment across various sites and functions within the geography in line with agreed targets and plans. - Supported delivery of key projects across the Hub as a L6S coach and mentor Delivery of the CI HUB Europe strategy and accountable for achieving strategic targets and milestones.

Experience in areas such as manufacturing, engineering, materials management, quality, and process improvements. - Track record of delivering breakthrough results impacting the bottom line - Developing strategy and translating into actionable plans & driving sustainable change through influence - Experience of being a Change Agent challenging conventional thinking, approach and methodology and driving improvements - Leading teams through influence without authority Experience working with and developing a Lean Production System (or similar) - Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, World Class Manufacturing or Six Sigma strategies and principles - Conducting cycles of learning & kaizen events. Clear understanding of success factors, market requirements, threats and opportunities of supported business and markets - Able to efficiently multi-task initiatives such as trainings, lead kaizen events , follow up activities, reports etc. - Effective
communicator at all levels of the organization including senior leaders. - Project Management skills - Meets deadlines, follows up and escalates late actions, closes gaps before issues escalate. - Providing weekly progress updates to leadership groups - Able to develop training plans and ensure 100% sustainment of all items. - Solution focus with exceptional problem-solving skills
