Part-Time School Secretary (job share) and Part-Time Receptionist (job share)
Secretary role - 15 hours per week, all year round
Salary in the region of £10,200 per annum
Starting late August 2024
Receptionist role - 24.5 hours per week, term-time only, plus up to 2 weeks
Salary in the region of £11,000 per annum
Starting late August 2024
As these roles have arisen at the same time due to an internal promotion it presents an opportunity for one outgoing, confident, professional individual who really understands the importance of first impressions and customer care to join our team and take on both roles, although we may consider hiring two fantastic people.
As our Part-Time School Secretary, you will be one of our "go to" people for administration support, stationery, printing, post, school buses and general enquiries as well as being the first point of contact for contractors and delivery drivers. This busy role is all year round working 8.30am to 4.30pm on Monday and Tuesday.
In our Part-Time Receptionist role, you will be the face and voice of Shiplake College, welcoming visitors to a busy reception area and general administration responsibilities. This post is term time only (plus up to 2 weeks); the working hours are 12.45pm to 6.15pm on Wednesday (including a handover), 7.45am to 6.15pm on Thursday and 7.45am to 5.15pm on Friday. There is a requirement for working occasional Saturday mornings for our open mornings etc which will be paid as overtime.
