Kitchen Porter / Runner

We are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly addition to our front of house team for the summer season at Corner Coffee, Cardiff. This part-time role will involve a wide variety of responsibilities supporting both back and front of house in delivering awesome customer experiences. This is a role for a hard-working all-rounder who is willing to work flexibly and prioritise well.,

• Maintaining a clear and clean cafe - clearing dishes and wiping down tables; sweeping up any debris; ensuring furniture is all tidy etc.


• Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas


• Washing dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchenware


• Disposing of trash and recyclables properly


• Taking drinks and food to tables, with a knowledge of the menu products thus able to answer any customer questions


• Making customers feel welcomed and valued, helping with any queries or issues


• Collaborating with team members and help wherever needed to achieve store goals


• Following all health and safety guidelines
  
  Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively


• Experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment


• Strong attention to detail


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members


• A genuine care for creating awesome customer experiences


• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
