Full Job Description

We need someone with cooking and nutrition experience, who can work in a team within a residential setting and be empowering and passionate in supporting adults to make positive changes in their drug and alcohol lifestyle choices. Hours are part-time, 22.5 hours per week, with specific hours to be agreed. For example, it could be agreed to work 5 x mornings, or 2.5 days per week etc.,

  • To oversee all aspects of health and safety within the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with health and safety law.

  • To create nutritious and varied menus

  • To oversee stock rotation and storage

  • To complete a weekly food order

  • To support the residents to develop their knowledge around food hygiene and food preparation

  • To aid the service users in the kitchen department to prepare food for the day

  • Pro rata salary of £14,400

  • 25 days' annual leave plus Bank Holidays (increasing each year to a maximum of 30 days, pro-rata)
