We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Finance Transformation Manager to join our team and support the continuous improvement of our Finance processes, systems, and reporting capabilities. As a Finance Transformation Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the successful delivery of finance-related projects and initiatives. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and understand business change needs, assess the impact of these changes, and work closely with various departments to ensure effective communication, understanding, and implementation of requirements., Our specialist lending is supported by our Kent Reliance and Charter Savings Bank retail savings franchises. Diversification of funding is provided by sophisticated securitisation platforms. OSB's unique cost-efficient operating model is supported by our wholly-owned subsidiary OSBIndia.

What you will be doing:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the delivery of Finance processes, reporting, systems, and associated initiatives with the Finance environment.

Your responsibilities will include…

  • Provide structure to finance projects (or financial aspects of larger projects) to meet overall project requirements, supporting the ongoing development and enhancement of robust team operating frameworks, documents, and tools.

  • Take ownership of the undertaking of the delivery of the various project testing delivery cycles, ensuring acceptance by the business.

  • Support the facilitation of all aspects of testing, training, documentation and providing input into the project.

  • Responsible for preparing and performing reconciliations and analysing vast amounts of data.

  • Deliver in the collaboration in the planning, design, development and deployment of new applications and enhancements to existing applications.

  • Assist in the delivery of the finance transformation to deliver process improvements and strengthen financial controls.

  • Deliver effective business partnering with teams across the business in providing structure to projects to meet overall project requirements with the role having the responsibility for delivering the finance requirements.

  • Deliver effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple groups with competing priorities., As part of our public commitment to the Women in Finance Charter, we have introduced our own initiatives to attract, develop and advance senior women in our sector.     Previous experience as a finance analyst or financial accountant (or similar) is essential.

  • Previous experience working with third party stakeholders is essential.

  • Previous experience working within financial services environment is essential.

  • Strong understanding of accounting controls, practices, processes, and standards is essential.

  • Good knowledge of cash management and methods of cash receipts is essential.

  • Excellent Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, Word & PowerPoint) is essential.

  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate the analysis in a simple way is essential.

  • Intermediate financial control skills are essential.

  • Advanced relationship management, stakeholder management and communication skills are essential.

  • Intermediate project management, sponsorship and delivery skills are essential.

  • Intermediate business modelling and partnering skills are essential.

    We offer a base salary dependent on experience of between £50,000 - £60,000 and a competitive benefits package including:
