Full Job Description

Leading on work which supports the delivery of a safe sustainable and expanded nursing, midwifery and AHP workforce related to international recruitment within the context of the CNO/ CAHPO Strategy and NHS long-term workforce plan. The successful candidate will be a registered nurse or AHP with current clinical and international recruitment experience. The post leads on both the development and the delivery of all aspects of AHP international recruitment and retention, including support of the regions national award winning #StayAndThrive together with other national programmes which support providers and ICB's in the developing sustainable ethical recruitment and retention.

The role offers a significant opportunity to help shape national and regional initiatives and policy, and additionally successful candidate will have experience and detailed understanding of international recruitment and retention initiatives. The post holder will be required to provide proactive project management and leadership support as part of the team to deliver the programme of work with NEY region and with colleagues nationally in other regions.

The successful candidate will have a track record of supporting the delivery of successful programmes of work and change. In addition to working closely with our national and regional teams, the successful candidate will be expected to work and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders including regulators, diaspora groups, local system and provider organisations.

Working both as a team member and independently you will be innovative and able to balance multiple competing priorities and programmes, able to demonstrate an ability to meet deadlines, have an understanding of project management, governance, risk management, Informatics and communications and engagement.
