Day Nursery Manager

Job Summary: Due to overwhelming demand of free childcare places, we are in urgent need of a very experienced and dedicated early years leader to compliment our existing nursery leadership team to oversee the daily operations of our nursery and preschool.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, possess strong leadership skills, and ensure the smooth running of the nursery.

Duties:- Manage the day-to-day activities of the nursery- Supervise and support nursery staff- Develop and implement educational programmes- Ensure a safe and stimulating environment for children- Communicate effectively with parents and staff- Drive continuous improvement in nursery standards- Maintain accurate records and reportsQualifications:- Fluent in English, both written and verbal- Experience working with children in a childcare setting- Qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent- Excellent communication skills- Previous experience managing a nursery or similar setting- Strong leadership abilities to motivate and guide staff,

• Diploma of Higher Education (preferred), Nursery: 2 years (required)


• Nursery experience: 2 years (preferred)


• Childcare: 2 years (preferred)


• Management: 2 years (required)


Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year,
