Home Colours is a rapidly growing and thriving multi channel online retail business selling designer homewares and accessories. We are looking to recruit a Customer Team Leader to be based at our Rugeley premises. This vacancy is immediately available.

Reporting into and working closely with the General Manager, the successful candidate will manage all aspects of customer service for all e-commerce channels including taking customer calls and responding to customer emails and messages, following up and resolving all customer queries and liaising with customers regarding delivery of customer backorders. In addition the role will take the lead in terms of order checking orders prior to despatch to ensure that the correct items have been picked and that they are in a suitable condition to be received by a customer. The successful candidate will also manage the customer returns process from authorising returns to checking and logging returns upon their receipt.

For the right candidate there is scope for the role to be expanded to include more responsibility for operational areas.

The successful candidate will need to be a very clear communicator, highly organised, a team player and a strong influencer with a can-do attitude. They will thrive on a challenge, have solid commercial awareness, able to act professionally under pressure and be able to deliver on a plan. Experience of working in a busy customer service environment would be helpful, though not essential.
