Full Job Description
Due to securing several projects, there is an opportunity for an experienced Construction Planner to join the business.
- Privately owned, successful and local main contractor

- Chair progress meetings and site walk-arounds with site teams
- Produce programmes with the site teams to create strategic solutions
- Demonstrate a full understanding of the project to propose and assess improvements to ensure successful completion
- Assist in the production of logistics plans, method statements, prelims and temporary work schedules
- Manage the planning and programme process
- Checking completeness of supply chain packages
Planning software knowledge and experience (ideally Asta Powerproject, Microsoft project, P6, Primavera or similar) - Experienced in different types of project planning and programme works
- Demonstrable experience within a similar Planning role for a Construction Contractor
- Construction related qualification(s)
Atkins Search are recruiting for a Construction Planner to join an established, leading construction main contractor based in the East Midlands. - Highly competitive salary, £60,000 - £70,000 (negotiable, depending on experience)

Role
Operating as the Planner, you will be focused on project delivery, responsible for producing and monitoring programmes, working collaboratively with the Contracts Managers to ensure projects are running on time.
Working as part of an established team, you will be operating across the Midlands and South Yorkshire, assisting in the delivery of various schemes with values of up to £20m.
