After you complete this four and a half days of training you will be able to explore further leadership and improvement training opportunities, we offer further in-house courses dependent upon your role and bitesize programmes and leadership apprenticeships at level 3,5 and 7.

An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and innovative clinical sister / charge nurse to influence and lead care at department level. This is a very busy and demanding Emergency Department dealing with approximately 120,000 patients per annum and rising. The department is a designated Major Trauma Centre and as such is a regional specialist for many specialties, including Spinal, Neuro surgical, Cardio- Thoracic and Maxillary Facial. The team is friendly and motivated and committed to providing an expert emergency service for the patients we treat., As part of the senior nursing team the successful candidate will be experienced in Emergency Department care and have up to date knowledge of emergency care issues. You will demonstrate effective leadership and innovation, be receptive to change and able to challenge and influence practice. You will show evidence of a professional approach underpinned by honesty and integrity, and alongside existing clinical sisters, lead on issues such as change management and service development.
