Full Job Description

Our MTP project works in partnership with the local authority to provide play scheme sessions to children and young people with disabilities, from the ages of 5-18 years old.

The play scheme sessions run during each week of the school holidays on a rota between Monday - Thursday, currently across Caldicot, Chepstow, Abergavenny and Monmouth with hours of sessions falling between 9am and 4.30pm. The model is currently running with a morning and afternoon session on each day.

All the children will have been assessed by a Social Worker from the children with disabilities team and we can only accept referrals from this team.

Sessions are in a group setting at specific venues within the local Monmouthshire community. Some children may have an identified 1-1 but remain in the group setting.

This allows the young people opportunities to enjoy activities of their choice whilst being supported to develop their social, communication and practical life skills.
