Full Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bench Joiner/Cabinet Maker to join our team. Your role will be crucial in achieving our ambitious goals and maintaining our high standards of craftsmanship.,

  • Efficiently and effectively operate CNC machines and edgebanding machines, including automatic, semi-automatic, and manual curved edgebanders.

  • Utilize a range of power tools, hand tools, and workshop-based machinery, showcasing proven experience in joinery.

  • Construct and assemble cabinets based on blueprints or design specifications.

  • Install hardware such as hinges, handles, and drawer slides.

  • Work with materials such as timbers, MDF, laminates, and veneers to manufacture various shopfitting items, including cabinets, doors, windows, bars, and counters.

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained.

    Proven experience as a Bench Joiner/Cabinet Maker or similar role, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a joinery workshop environment.

  • Ability to measure materials with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Strong focus on health and safety within the workshop.

  • Reliable with excellent time-keeping skills.

  • Conscientious, polite, and personable.

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.

  • Previous experience working with nesting CNC machines is advantageous.

  • Keen eye for detail and a drive for producing high-quality work.

  • Ability to adapt working practices based on feedback.

  • Resourceful and innovative, seeking continuous improvement in working processes.

  • Ability to follow written instructions, such as cutting lists.

  • Familiarity with reading blueprints and design plans.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

    Competitive salary ranging from £25,000 to £30,000, depending on experience.
