Milestone is currently looking to recruit Assistant Site Supervisor to work on our Suffolk Highways contract in Suffolk. As a/the Assistant Site supervisor you will be part of our Operation / Construction Team who are responsible for delivery of works across Suffolk.
Suffolk Highways is a new contract secured by Milestone in 2023 for up to 20 years. Under the contract we are responsible for delivering a wide range of highway maintenance and improvement activities to Suffolk County Council. You will enable us to meet our key contract aim of ensuring high-quality highway services are delivered for the benefit of residents, businesses, and highway users in Suffolk.
As a Milestone Assistant Site Supervisor, you'll be at the heart of the action and oversee various sub-contractors and operative activities, working across several workstreams within the business. The main duties and tasks of a construction site supervisor are the control of health and safety standards on construction projects, recording, control and reporting of progress on a construction project and the minimisation of the environmental impact of construction projects.
As the Assistant Site Supervisor your duties & responsibilities will be:
- Health, Safety & Quality of works.
- Supervision of both in house teams and those provided by our supply chain partners.
- Maintaining records of works undertaken.
- Working with colleagues to deliver our programme of works.
