Full Job Description

The Assembly Technician will report to the Lead Manufacturing-Workshop Technician and is responsible for performing assembly tasks in the workshop to create ANMS products.,

  • Working primarily within the assembly areas of the workshop to create hose assemblies using a full range of hose types and fitting systems, and performing swaging and crimping.

  • Assembling quick-disconnect (QD) couplings, valves, and other ANMS products.

  • Collaborating with Lead Workshop Technicians and Account Managers to ensure assembly work meets customer and internal requirements.

  • Maintaining a tidy assembly workshop area.

  • Gaining an understanding and appreciation of all other workshop processes.

  • Assisting in other workshop areas as necessary, with a positive attitude toward undertaking various workshop activities.

  • Adhering to Company QA Procedures in all activities.


  • Training:

    Comprehensive training will be provided for this role.

    Overtime:

    Given the seasonal nature of motorsport design and production, there are periods of very high workload. Currently, the peak workload period spans from mid-December to mid-March, subject to future changes. A reasonable amount of overtime is expected during this period as part of the role.

  • Must possess engineering workshop experience with precise assembly skills.

  • Must be capable of interpreting engineering drawings and workshop instructions.


  • It is crucial to have the ability to solve problems and overcome irregularities as they arise to meet delivery deadlines, meaning one must have the ability and mindset to "think on their feet."
  • Having motorsport experience or interest is beneficial but not mandatory., Complete work swiftly and efficiently while upholding the highest quality.

  • Desirable Qualifications:
  • Proficiency and experience in using workshop machinery/tools and executing precise processes.

  • Experience in working from engineering drawings and instructions.

    Working hours: Monday to Friday.

  • Summer Hours (approx. April): 8:15 to 5:00, with a half-hour lunch, and a half-day on Friday.

  • Winter Hours (approx. November): 8:30 to 5:00, with a one-hour lunch, and some overtime expected.

  • Overtime is available and often required during peak periods, paid at 1.5 times the basic hourly rate (calculated from salary).

  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK; those with time-limited permits will not be considered.

  • This is a permanent position.
